Top 10 of 2015 - Best Dual POV's

Best ________ of 2015 (Readers/bloggers choice. Please fill in the blank with ONE of these topics - villains, contemporaries, dual POV's, Novellas, Adult titles, New Adult titles, Love triangles, Couples, Bad Boys or Debuts. REMEMBER - this list must be from books you've READ in 2015).

For this one it took me a while to decide on which to go for as for the couple of years that I have been doing this I have gone for couples and I wanted to do something different this year. It was hard to decide as I will either have a couple of days with pretty much the same list or not enough read of that particular topic to even make a top 5!

In the end I went with Best Dual POV's of 2015.

The Edge of Never (The Edge of Never, #1) by J.A. Redmerski

I think without having a dual POV I wouldn't have liked this book as I think what made this book was because knowing what each of them was feeling I was able to get a better understanding of why they did certain things.

Inspire (The Muse, #1) by Cora Carmack 

I loved that this was a completely new kind of paranormal read and added to that I get to see alternating POV's made it for a very enjoyable read.

Catching Heat (Feeling the Heat, #3) by Alison Packard

So many huge things happened in this book that I'm so glad that I got to hear what both of the main characters where thinking in these particular moments.

The Accidental Assassin (The Assassins, #1) by Nichole Chase 

A completely new kind of read for me and it was such a great read especially getting the alternating POV's which is always a plus in my eyes.

The Hook Up (Game On, #1) by Kristen Callihan

There was times in this book where I didn't like how one of them was treating the other so to get alternating POV's it was very helpful to get a better understanding of why they where saying some of the things they where saying.

Rule (Marked Men, #1) by Jay Crownover

To get inside the head of Rule is a must for this book and I'm so glad we got it as he had a lot of issues and to know where his head was at helped me to love Rule. I'm also glad we got to hear from Shaw as it's always nice to know what both of the main characters are thinking especially these two.

The Final Move (Hometown Players, #3) by Victoria Denault

I'm so glad we got dual POV's in this book as throughout this series we didn't get much from either of the characters so I felt it was needed to get to know them both all over again.

Alex/Zack (Cold Fury Hockey, #1 & 3) by Sawyer Bennett

All of the Cold Fury Hockey (so far) have dual POV's but knowing each of these two books main characters was what made this book and without one of them would in my opinion spoil the books.

The Closer You Come (The Original Heartbreakers, #1) by Gena Showalter

Knowing both of these characters helped me understand where both of them where coming from and I think without hearing from one of the characters would've made me not like them as they both have issues that they had to work through so it was better to know these issues so I could like them both.

The Substitute (The Wedding Pact, #1) by Denise Grover Swank

This was one amazingly funny book and I'm so glad we got to know both of the main characters thoroughly.

It felt like a slow reading month as there was days when I didn't even read but I did read 8 books so it wasn't too bad in the end.

And the book of the month goes too...

This was an easy pick this month as it was my only 5 star book. I was starting to think that it was going to be my first month in a long time that I never read a  5 star book but I knew I was on to a winner with a Stage Dive book and I wasn't wrong it was just as good as the others in this series.

 I received a review copy from netgalley in exchange for an honest review.

The cover is a little too plain for my liking as it's too white. I do like the softness look of the cover as it comes across as romantic and since this is a romance novel it's rather fitting.

Thanks to Alison Packard I am addicted to sport romance novels so it was nice to go back to her books and even though there wasn't any sport being played I could still tell that sport was the underlining story which I think made it even better as their was no terminology that I didn't understand. I was completely hooked by this story to the point I didn't want to put it down even when I had to. I have read a couple of stories that have pregnancy intertwined in the story which I haven't been a huge fan of because they kept the pregnancy a secret so it was nice to see it being put out there from the beginning. I loved the chemistry between the two main characters even when they didn't want to like one another I could still see them sizzling whilst in the same room. This book had me on a rollercoaster ride of emotions as one minute I would be laughing out load and then there was moments when I had to force myself not to cry. I kind of loved the ending as it was such a sweet moment but I didn't like that some issues wasn't sorted out.

I loved pretty much all the characters apart from Angie's Mum she was a nightmare! Angie I actually didn't like during the first half of the book as she was down right awful to J.T. however once we find out about why she was the way she was I was able to understand where she was coming from. The second half she was a much more likeable character as J.T. and his family brought out the best in her. I adored J.T. he was the most kind and sweetest guy ever in fact he did seem a bit too good to be true but I didn't care as I loved him anyway. I loved J.T.'s family as they where so nice and I especially loved his brother's Jake and Josh maybe not so much Justin but there's a story there. I am so glad that the next book is Jake's I can't wait to find out more about him, I just hope the others get their own book but as of yet there's no word on Goodreads about them.

Overall, I adored this book and I can't wait to read more from Alison Packard.

I have read a couple of Alison's books and I have adored them both and now she has a new one coming out I can't wait for it although we don't have much of a wait now!

Kindle Book Won

I could pick any of Alison Packard books after winning a competition over at Alison's website and I chose this one as its the first in the series and I haven't read it even though I read the second one. I am really looking forward to reading this book as I really loved the second book The Winning Season.
