And the Book of the Month goes to...

This month was a hard one to choose from as I read a few books that where amazing but in the end I went with this one because this bought out my emotions the most and made me actually cry instead of feeling like I was going to cry.

 

Also I thought I would let everyone know what my book/s of the year was:

 

 

I couldn't pick out of the two as I adored them both and I can't wait to read more from both of these authors.

Sawyer & Lana (The Vincent Borthers by Abbi Glines) - Love these two together!

Ryan & Beth (Dare You To by Katie McGarry) - I never thought I would want to see Beth with anyone else but these two together made complete sense.

Holly & Luke (Holly & Ivey by Megan Kelly) - This book may not have been 5/5 rating but these two together was 5 star.

Nick & Lucy (Blood Prophecy by Alyxandra Harvey) - This book is actually full of cute couples but Nick and Lucy was the cutest.

Carrie & Nick (A Christmas for Carrie by Alison Packard) - So cute together.

Rachel & Isaiah (Crash Into You by Katie McGarry) - I thought Isaiah was meant to be with Beth but once Rachel was introduced to the story we got to see a softer side to him which was great to see.

Spring & Henry (Definitely, Maybe in Love by Ophelia London) - Of course I was going to love this couple they are a modern retelling of Mr. Darcy and Elizabeth.

Beck & Riley (Grave Matters by Jana Oliver) - I always wanted these two together and now we got see them together even more!

Beau & Ashton (The Vincent Boys by Abbi Glines) - These two together are perfect you can feel the chemistry sizzling of the page!

Daemon & Katy (Origin by Jennifer L. Armentrout) - I have loved these two from the very first book and now they are even stronger together they seem to have an epic romance!

Another Christmas read from Netgalley that I have read this December and it's another read that I very much enjoyed reading.

I'm not a huge fan of the cover as to me it's a bit cheesy looking which is saying something when I say that as I do love a bit of cheese for Christmas.

 

I loved this book from the moment it started as it was such a cute and fun read. I loved the build up of the romance and the chemistry between Holly and Luke was a scorcher! The Christmas part was cute but I didn't feel like that was the main focus of the story which I didn't mind. It was a short read which for the most part it didn't matter as we still got to the hidden depths of the story that I love in a full length novel. The only thing that let the book down was the ending which some of things got cleared up but there was one part of the story that never really got settled which was such a shame as otherwise it would have been another five star Christmas read.

 

I loved most of the characters but there was one that I wasn't a fan of but I don't think anybody would be as he was just a jerk. Luke was a great male character that I loved his relationship with not only Holly but his brother. Holly was another great character and was a very loyal friend which was lovely to see and again her relationship between Luke's brother was great. Micah is Luke's brother and for the most part I felt he stole the show a bit as he was such a funny character and I would love to see him get his own book.

 

Overall this was a quick, cute and a fun read I just wished that the ending would have been extended a bit more.
