Synopsis:
Seven years ago, Matthew Logan ran out on his wedding to June Leigh.
Life is good for fledgling dress-designer April Leigh. She couldn’t be happier that her sister has found a new love, and is excited about her very first commission, June’s wedding dress. When April discovers June has invited runaway groom Matthew Logan to the wedding, she has to intervene. Matthew’s presence will ruin everything – her father hates him, and just the sight of him in the church might give her mother a heart attack.
Matthew Logan has no intention of going to June’s wedding, but when intriguing April arrives on his doorstep, he can’t resist getting to know her better. When a disaster forces them together neither can deny the passion that combusts into a red-hot affair.
Discovering the truth about the past shifts April’s feelings from lust to love, but bitter experience has taught Matthew to guard his heart.
When it looks as though Matthew will lose her forever, will he fight or flee?

I received a review copy from netgalley in exchange for an honest review. I also got a finished copy from Amazon whilst it was free.

I'm not a fan of the cover as I don't feel like it's in keeping with the actual story plus I don't feel as though this is what the characters would even wear. I don't like the blurriness in the actual image as it just doesn't look professional enough. I do however like the blurred in the title as it ties in with the story.

When I first started this book I did actually think that I was going to love it as it was addicting and intriguing, however the more I read the more I got fed up. I think what really put me off was the speed of everything that was happening which I think was due to the length of the book as it was a very short book so it felt like everything was getting crammed in, in a short space of time. I didn't feel like the romance side of the story was believable as it just happened far too quickly especially after that happened between the pair in the past, I also didn't really feel the chemistry although there was moments when I saw glimmers of something between them but not often enough. The ending was cute with everything cleared up (well to a point anyways).

I kind of liked the two main characters although both had their moments. April had moments when I liked her as she came across as a strong person but then the other times when I didn't like her was because she was too forgiving and easily led. Matthew for the most part I really liked as he wasn't like he was made out to be in the beginning. There was moments when I wasn't too happy with how he acted but I could also forgive him those moments especially when we find out about what had happened to him. I liked April's friends and Matthew's family. There was one character that I just couldn't warm to especially the more we find out about her the more I wanted to slap her.

Overall, not too bad of a book but it wasn't a long enough book for me to really fall in love with it which was a shame as I think it could've been a really good book if only it was longer.
