Eleven minutes might as well be eternity underwater. According to the lessons from health class, it only takes three minutes without air for loss of consciousness. Permanent brain damage begins at four minutes. And then, when the oxygen runs out, full cardiac arrest occurs. Death is possible at five minutes. Probable at seven. Definite at ten.

Decker looked up. He looked up and his mouth fell open. He moved it to say something, but I didn't hear him because I fumbled around the hall until I found a door and I pushed it open and I was gone. - Page 99

There was a few quotes that I could have used this week but I settled for these two as when I read them it got me excited to see what was going to happen next. The second quote was the last paragraph that I read before putting it down couldn't believe I actually put it down after reading that. I am really enjoying this book and I can't wait to continue it.
