Blurb from Goodreads:

Sera isn’t living. She’s existing—barely. Bedbound by illness, she has no memory of life before the freezing barn she now calls home. A mournful song haunts her dreams and hints at a past not completely buried—one she’s desperate to uncover. Yet Father’s whirlwind visits to draw blood and administer medication don’t provide answers. He only confirms the one thing she already knows; she’s dying.

A lonely death without ever knowing her past seems inevitable until a sudden, mystifying return to health coincides with the arrival of a boy in the opposite out-building. The inextricable pull to the stranger, and the broken memories that storm her mind when he’s near, warn of a history quite different to any she could have imagined. If she’s to uncover the truth she craves, she’ll have to decide whether knowledge of the past is worth forfeiting her second chance at life.

I was asked by the author to review this book and after reading and loving one of her other books I said yes and I'm glad I did as it was a very enjoyable and different book.

This cover is stunning and I especially love the colours that was used as it makes the cover really stand out as a beautiful cover.

Remember Me was a very short book but with everything that happened in those 46 pages it felt more like a full length novel. Even though this was a book about Angels which I have read a lot of books involving Angels it was a very different version of Angels and I enjoyed it. There was times when I didn't understand what was happening but towards the end everything was explained which I'm still not too sure about everything that happened. There was a tiny bit of romance which was not enough for me as I love romance in the books that I read.

Even though a lot happened in the book in the short amount of story but I felt the characters didn't develop enough for me to get attached to them. Sera never really knew herself until the end so in turn we didn't really know her. I think if the book was longer we may have got to know the characters better.

Overall there was a few things that I didn't understand at all times but it was a very enjoyable read and I do look forward to reading more from Amaleen Ison as her book always seem to be quick and easy reads.
