I bought this a couple of years ago for my birthday and I have only just gotten around to reading it and I don't know why as I thoroughly enjoyed this book.
I must admit one of the reasons why I wanted to have his book was because of the cover as it's stunning. The only thing I don't like about it is that it has no relevance to the story (in my opinion). I love the way in which the title has been done as I think that is kind of in keeping with the storyline.
As soon as I started this book I just had to read a bit more before I could put it down and before I knew it I was pretty far into the book, I was that hooked. I loved this book so much that I kept thinking about reading the next book straight after but in the end I thought I would wait until next month so that I can get it into my head that that book will be from Travis's point of view and not Abbey's. There was so many times that had me laughing out loud and then the next minute I would be gasping at what one of them had done. From the moment that Travis and Abbey meet you could tell that there was an instant chemistry even if one of them didn't want to admit to it. I truly feel that the title of the book is a perfect way to describe the relationship between Travis and Abbey. The ending for me was perfect as even though it doesn't go very far into the future it does a little bit and I loved the outcome, now I just need to read what Travis was thinking through out this book bring on Walking Disaster is all I can say!!
I loved just about every character in this book especially the two main characters even if there was times when I shouldn't I just couldn't help myself. Abbey for me seemed a bit stuck up at the beginning but I soon found that was just a front she put on. I loved the way she never took any rubbish from Travis and told him how it is (for the most part) but then on the other hand some of the things she did/said I hated. Travis I loved from the very beginning he was so funny but there was some things that he did for Abbey that had me swooning, he could be so sweet at times. There was another side to Travis that wasn't so sweet but I just couldn't seem to care.
Overall this was an amazing book that I would highly recommend everyone to read and on a plus side I have found out that Travis's brothers are going to get their own books so I can't wait for those.
Blurb:
GOOD GIRLAbby Abernathy doesn't drink or swear and she works hard. Abby believes she has buried her dark past, but when she arrives at college, ger dreams of a new beginning are quickly challenged by the university's walking one-night stand.
BAD BOYTravis Maddox, sexy, built, and covered in tattoos, is exactly what Abby needs - and wants - to avoid. He spends his nights winning money in a floating fight club, and his days as the notorious college Lothario.
IMMINENT DISASTER?Intrigued by Abby's resistance to his charms, Travis tricks her into his life with a simple bet. If he loses, he must remain celibate for a month. If Abby loses, she must live in travis's apartment of trh same amount of time.
OR THE START OF SOMETHING BEAUTIFUL?Either way, TRavis has no idea that he has met his match. Or that this is the start of an obsessive, intense relationship that will lead them both into unimaginable territory.
