I found this book on Amazon UK for free so I thought I would give it a try. I'm glad I did as it was an enjoyable read...
The cover on goodreads doesn't show off the colours that this cover has when it's on my kindle as the yellow is from top to bottom where this picture doesn't show this. I do like the simplicity of the cover as there isn't too much going on although it does seem a bit cheesy I can see this as a part of the actual story.
When I started this book it did actually confuse me a little bit as the first persons point of view was from a grandad and I wasn't sure about the age of the people he was talking with at first I though they where younger than they where but when it went further I was able to find out and then it made more sense. After the first chapter it mainly changed points of view between Amelia and Morgan which I liked as I was able to understand where both of them where coming from. The relationship between Morgan and Amelia felt a bit too rushed with no real chemistry I just didn't believe they felt anything but friendship. I think that maybe if the book was longer then it probably would have been better. There wasn't any real action and at times it was a little dull. I kind of liked the ending as it was how I would liked it to end but I felt like there was a chunk missing before the end.
There was some sweet characters in this book. I was surprised I liked the main female character Amelia because at first she seemed a bit shallow but the more we got to know her the more she showed a bit of depth about her. I liked Morgan he was so sweet but there was a few moments when I wanted to shake him so he could open his eyes.
Overall it was a sweet quick read but it just felt like there was something missing.
