On My Wishlist #3

On my wishlist is a weekly event hosted by Book Chick City which runs every Saturday.
This will be where I choose a book that I really really want but haven't been able to get it just yet.

This week on my wishlist is:
Anna and the French Kiss by Stephanie Perkins

                                             Goodreads:
Anna is looking forward to her senior year in Atlanta, where she has a great job, a loyal best friend, and a crush on the verge of becoming more. Which is why she is less than thrilled about being shipped off to boarding school in Paris - until she meets Etienne St. Clair: perfect, Parisian (and English and American, which makes for a swoon-worthy accent), and utterly irresistible. The only problem is that he's taken, and Anna might be, too, if anything comes of her almost-relationship back home.

As winter melts into spring, will a year of romantic near - misses end with the French kiss Anna - and readers - have long awaited?
I have wanted to read this book for awhile now as it seems everyone who has read it loves it. I don't think I have heard a bad word about it.
It's not usually my kind of genre although I do like some romance books so I am hoping this is as good as those romance books I have already read.

On My Wishlist #2

On my wishlist is a weekly event hosted by Book Chick City which runs every Saturday.
This will be where I choose a book that I really really want but haven't been able to get it just yet.

This week on my wishlist is:
Divergent by Veronica Roth

Goodreads:
Beatrice "Tris" Prior has reached the fateful age of sixteen, the stage at which teenagers in Veronica Roth's dystopian Chicago must select which of five factions to join for life. Each faction represents a virtue: Candor, Abnegation, Dauntless, Amity, and Erudite. To the surprise of herself and her selfless Abnegation family, she chooses Dauntless, the path of courage. Her choice exposes her to the demanding, violent initiation rites of this group, but it also threatens to expose a personal secret that could place in mortal danger. Veronica Roth's young adult Divergent trilogy launches with a captivating adventure about love and loyalty playing out under most extreme circumstances.
Everywhere I look someone is either reading or has read this book and it seems to get rave reviews and the more I hear about it the more I want to get it. So I hope to read it in the near future!

On My Wishlist #1

On my wishlist is a weekly event hosted by Book Chick City which runs every Saturday.
This will be where I choose a book that I really really want but haven't been able to get it just yet.

This week on my wishlist is:
Bloodlines by Richelle Mead

Goodreads:
The first book in Richelle Mead's brand-new teen fiction series - set in the same world as Vampire Academy.

When alchemist Sydney is ordered into hiding to protect the life of Moroi princess Jill Dragomir, the last place she expects to be sent is a human private school in Palm Springs, California. But at their new school, the drama is only just beginning.

Populated with new faces as well as familiar ones, Bloodlines explores all the friendship, romance, battles and betrayals that made the #1 New York Times bestselling Vampire Academy series so addictive - this time in a part-vampire, part-human setting where the stakes are even higher and everyone's out for blood.

When I first heard about Richelle Mead's new series which is from the same world as Vampire Academy I just knew I would have to get it when it first comes out. That never worked out I am still waiting to buy it but one things for sure I definitely will and I can't wait either!
