Follow Friday is a weekly event hosted by Parajunkee and Alison Can Read. This is a great way to discover new blogs and make new friends! This weeks featured are Books Are Vital and Once Upon A Time.
Q: When you’ve read a book, what do you do with it? (Keep it, give it away, donate it, sell it, swap it..?)
A: Well it actually depends on the book, as if I give it 3-5 stars I will keep it. Anything below that I will see if anyone wants to swap it with me. Although some of my three stars are starting to go on the swap list too.
My self is far too full I need to get rid of some of the books that I have had on my swap list for a while but, some of them are adult books and it seems most of the charity shops around here only want children's books.
Some of what I read are from Netgalley which we don't actually get to keep them which I like because then they are not taking up all the space on my computer but if I like the book I will just have to buy a hardcopy.
My shelf is also way to full. If I don't love it I try to pass it on.

My shelves get too full as well! I even have like two stacks on the floor right now that are my TBR piles. Plus I have other stacked on my closet shelf as well! It's crazy! And yet I still buy more books!

Kid's books are a lot easier to get rid of, but also as a parent, I want to buy them used because kids are so hard on them.

I don't keep books I didn't enjoy either. There isn't enough space for ones I don't love!

I may have to think about getting rid of books I don't enjoy, but it's just so hard to let them go! :P I don't think I've rated any of the ones I've read (that I own) under 4 stars...but that may just be because I stop in the middle of books I don't like, which still doesn't happen that often.
ReplyDeleteI'm a new follower. :)
this is a problem, I even keep the ones I like! I need to stop doing that LOL
